Home to TV’s chart leaders with Sunday’s all new “Hannah Montana,” “JONAS” and “Sonny With A Chance,” Disney Channel stood as TV’s No. 1 network in Total Day in Tweens 9-14 (530,000/2.2 rating) for the 7th time in 8 weeks, surging by 17% year to year (454,000 - week of 6/2/08). In addition, this week qualified as the net’s most-watched week in Total Day in Kids 6-11 (627,000) and Tweens 9-14 (530,000) in more than 5 months - - since week of 12/29/08.

On Sunday, “JONAS” hit a series high in Kids 6-11 (1.7 million/7.1 rating), matched May’s series launch as the show’s top-rated in Tweens 9-14 (1.6 million/6.5 rating) and was its second-most-watched telecast ever in Total Viewers (3.7 million).

Leading into its all-new Sunday night lineup, Disney Channel delivered impressive ratings with its “Sonny With A Chance” marathon (2:00 – 7:30 p.m.) - - which also featured music videos from the net’s stars, The Jonas Brothers, Hannah Montana, Demi Lovato and Mitchel Musso - - as Sunday stood as the net’s most-watched Sunday in over 20 months in Total Viewers (2.0 million), Kids 6-11 (852,000) and Tweens 9-14 (735,000) - - since 9/30/07. In fact, Sunday qualified as the net’s most-watched day overall in nearly 4 months in both key kid demos - - since 2/16/09.

In Kids 6-11, Disney Channel delivered TV’s Top 3 telecasts with Sunday’s “Hannah Montana” (1.8 million/7.2 rating), “Sonny With A Chance” (1.8 million/7.2 rating) and “JONAS” (1.7 million/7.1 rating). In Tweens 9-14, the network was home to TV’s Top 6 telecasts for the week fronted by “Sonny With A Chance” (1.7 million/6.9 rating), “JONAS” (1.6 million/6.5 rating) and “Hannah Montana” (1.6 million/6.5 rating).

In Prime, Disney Channel was cable’s No. 2 network in Total Viewers (2.2 million), and extended its reign as cable’s No. 1 network to 218 consecutive weeks in Kids 6-11 (974,000/4.0 rating) and to 214 weeks in Tweens 9-14 (819,000/3.4 rating).

The week’s No. 1 TV telecast in Kids 6-11 (1.8 million/7.2 rating – tied “Sonny With A Chance”) and Tweens 9-14 (1.6 million/6.5 rating), Sunday’s all-new “Hannah Montana” built impressively over its last original airing on 5/17/09, up by 24% in Total Viewers (4.2 million vs. 3.4 million), by 38% in Kids 6-11 (1.8 million vs. 1.3 million) and by 33% in Tweens 9-14 (1.6 million vs. 1.2 million).

“Sonny With A Chance” (Sunday, 8:05-8:30 p.m.)

TV’s No. 1 telecast for the week in Kids 6-11 (1.8 million/7.2 rating – tied “Hannah Montana”) and Tweens 9-14 (1.7 million/6.9 rating), “Sonny With A Chance” tied its outing on 5/3/09 as the show’s most-watched first-run telecast in almost 3 months - - since 3/15/09.

Sunday’s original “JONASposted a series high in Kids 6-11 (1.7 million/7.1 rating), matched its series premiere as its top-rated telecast in Tweens 9-14 (1.6 million/6.5 rating), and was the show’s second-most-watched episode on record in Total Viewers (3.7 million), behind only its premiere on 5/2/09. For the week, “JONAS” was TV’s No. 2 telecast in Tweens 9-14 (tied with “Hannah Montana”) and No. 3 in Kids 6-11.

For the week, “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” (No. 9 – 645,000/3.9 rating) and “Special Agent Oso” (No. 10 – 603,000/3.7 rating) placed among the week’s Top 10 TV programs in the key preschool Kids 2-5 demo.
