Executive Producer

Sharla Sumpter Bridgett is the executive producer of Disney Channel's comedy series "Sonny With A Chance."

In 1996, Sumpter Bridgett started working with Brian Robbins at Tollin/Robbins Productions on "All That," "Kenan and Kel," "The Amanda Show," "The Nick Cannon Show" and "Cousin Skeeter."  She also worked on the feature film "Goodburger" and the "All That Summer Concert Tour and Comedy Festival," which hit arenas during the summer of 2000 featuring headliners Monica and 98 Degrees as well as the cast of "All That." 

Sumpter Bridgett moved on to become an Executive in Charge of Production for Nickelodeon, where she oversaw the premiere of the show "Taina."  In 2002, she returned to Tollin/Robbins Productions to become the President of Production, and was responsible for the successful theatrical releases of "Wild Hogs," with Tim Allen, John Travolta, Martin Lawrence and William H. Macy, and "Coach Carter" starring Samuel L. Jackson.

In 2007 Sumpter Bridgett partnered with Robbins and produced the upcoming "A Thousand Words" with Eddie Murphy for DreamWorks/Paramount through their Varsity Pictures banner.

A native of Los Angeles, Sumpter Bridgett earned a degree from USC and currently resides in the Los Angeles area with her husband Pardé and their daughters Hunter and Hendrix.
