Jake and the Never Land Pirates
DAVID ARQUETTE
Skully
David Arquette voices the role of Skully, the parrot lookout who helps Jake and crew foil Captain Hook's plans, in Disney Junior's new animated series, "Jake and the Never Land Pirates." Although he wears a patch over one eye, Skully is the best lookout a pirate ever had.
As an actor, writer, director and producer, Arquette has a unique sensibility that makes him one of the most versatile talents working in the entertainment industry.
He was discovered in 1997 at Sundance for his role in "Johns." Since that time, he has acted in dozens of feature films, including the "Scream" franchise, "Hamlet 2," "The Grey Zone," "Stealing Sinatra," "Never Been Kissed," "Dream with the Fishes," "Never Die Alone" and "The Darwin Awards."
This April Arquette will reprise his role as Deputy "Dewey" Riley in the much anticipated fourth installment of the "Scream" franchise for director Wes Craven.
As a partner in Coquette Productions with his wife, Courtney Cox, Arquette currently serves as executive producer of ABC's hit comedy series, "Cougar Town" alongside Bill Lawrence and Cox. Under the Coquette banner, Arquette also produced the FX drama "Dirt," among other series. Additionally, he wrote and produced his feature directorial debut, "The Tripper" and "The Butlers in Love," which he also executive produced and directed.
He is also a partner in Propr, a clothing line he launched with his friends Ben Harper and David Bedwell. The line started out in Arquette's garage and has grown to mass retail.
Arquette often gives his time to charitable causes and was recently named the Chairman of the Entertainment Counsel for Feeding America. He also gives time to children's organizations such as EBMRF, which benefits children with epidermolysis bullosa, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation and Art of Elysium.
The youngest of five, David Arquette was born in Virginia and is part of the illustrious Arquette family whose work has crossed over many generations. Arquette currently resides in Los Angeles, California with his wife and their six-year-old daughter.
