Ross Lynch stars as confident and charismatic singer Austin Moon, one-half of an internet music duo that has become an overnight sensation, on the new Disney Channel comedy series "Austin & Ally."

Lynch has appeared in nearly 20 national commercials and several national print and advertising campaigns. He has also been featured in a number of music videos for Disney Channel's "Hannah Montana," as well as "Kidz Bop" and "Kung Fu Panda." Most recently the 15-year-old Lynch was seen in Disney XD's short-form series, "Moises Rules." The part of Austin in "Austin & Ally" marks his first leading role.

Born December 29, 1995, in Littleton, Colorado, Lynch is the second youngest of five siblings. He and his brothers and sister are members of the musical group, R5.

Pursuing a career in television, Lynch is following in the footsteps of his cousins, Derek and Julianne Hough, from ABC’s "Dancing with the Stars."

Lynch’s hobbies include ice hockey, remote control airplanes and helicopters, as well as playing the guitar, drums and piano. His family has two pets, a pair of mellow turtles.
